If you want to clear the Harbinger of Doom Dark Ops challenge, you need to get 100 zombie kills from a single scorestreak. This is a hard task, but it works with planning and practice. Start in a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby if you can. The bot lobby removes the chaos of live players and lets you test streak placement, timing, and routes until the method feels smooth. Use the bot runs to learn how the horde moves and how your chosen streak behaves under pressure.
Choose the right scorestreak
Pick a streak that can either keep dealing damage over time or pull zombies into one spot. The sentry turret is a top choice because it auto-aims and shoots fast. The attack dog is strong if you can send it through the pack repeatedly. Explosive pods or similar AoE tools work if you can make the horde bunch up. A streak that turns a teammate into a heavy hitter also works if you have a steady teammate or a bot to stand in place. Avoid one-shot effects that do not hit for long unless you can force the zombies into the impact zone again and again.
Build a steady training path
Training the zombies into a tight loop is the main skill you need. First clear a bit of space to make a safe lane. Then use map cover or place a barrier so the zombies funnel into one path. Run a smooth circle so the zombies follow you in a compact ring. Block side doors and choke points so the pack can’t split. The goal is a steady pack of thirty to forty zombies that stay inside the strike zone. If the group breaks, stop and tighten the path before you try again.
Drop the streak at the sweet spot
Wait until the loop is dense before you place the streak. For a sentry, set it in the center of the ring so each lap brings the zombies into its cone. For a dog, send it through the heart of the loop so each run hits many targets. For AoE pods, throw them into the center so the blast hits the packed group. Timing is key. If you drop too early many zombies will be out of range. If you drop too late the pack may overflow or scatter. Watch the pack and act when it looks full and steady.
Keep yourself alive and ready
You must stay alive while the streak makes the kills. Use Juggernog or another health perk so you can take hits. Use Quick Revive when you play solo so a downed run does not end too fast. Carry a Pack-a-Punched weapon for the stragglers that the streak misses. Keep a crowd-control tool to handle close threats that might break the loop. Save field upgrades like speed boosts or shields for moments you need to move quickly or buy time for the streak to finish its work.
Practice the full run in the Bot Lobby
Return to the CoD BO7 Bot Lobbies buy for final practice runs. Set bots to higher difficulty to mimic late rounds and test exact placement and timing. Repeat the run until you hit consistent high numbers. Try small changes like moving the barrier a few steps, or shifting the streak half a meter, until the pack behavior stays the same each loop. The bot lobby gives you the safe space to find the exact sweet spot and to test how different streaks scale with tight pack sizes.
What happens when you hit 100 kills and what to track next
When the on-screen counter reaches 100, the Dark Ops challenge will register as complete in your Dark Ops list. The completion logs inside the Dark Ops menu record your result and you receive the related Dark Ops reward.
